Hmmmm, I'm not sure Kipple was quite hillarious enough to make me laugh out loud. What is Lunch Monkeys, and is it on YouTube yet, or is this the first ever series?

Doh! Once again the vagueries of the BBC, who are happy enough to supply those of us who live outside the British isles with free podcasts but send us an "Oooh sorry, you don't pay your licence fee so you cannot use iplayer" message when we try to hear Matt sing sea shanties, have scuppered my plans to chortle at his expense... Will one of you play it time and again, just to get your fees worth please.

Well there you have it, someone found an old post of mine and then wrote about me in one of theirs. There is a point in this blogging after all.

Against your better advice, the first thing I did was type in 'hand crufted' into google.... and you are now 2nd! Beating those auto-vectorizing nerds into a cocked hat with your very own crufting hand.

Following up from what Ferdia said - I think that could say 'race to see boys christening' on the paper in the background... which makes me wonder why you'd race to see a christening? Unless it was the christening of Jesus, which would make it a very old newspaper... not to say factually incorrect. Come on Matt come clean - Exactly how old is that picture?!

Dear Matt, I do worry about the length of time that you have been wrestling with this on your own - you should have asked for help sooner. The christmas border on the paper in the offending cheese shot clearly indicates that you've been holding this image on your phone since at least late December, too long for one man. Share the grief, might I suggest and uplifting end to your song (I don't need to share a writing credit);
"But it ain't all bad when I figure out the paper can be eaten."
I think a few goes with this ending should help a lot.
Wishing you well,
Ferdia.

I think you should have taken a third picture without the cutlery. Also, if I were you, I would have pushed the food a little bit in, to minimise gapping. Or put it on a jazzier plate. Just a few things to think about Matthew.
