Exciting New Music…

Yes. Finally. It’s the thing you’ve all been waiting for.  Like a cool late night show on 6Music, a groovy website or `zine, I’ve got some new music to share with you.  If you’ve seen me live then these songs are old (classics), but they’re not old, they’re new and exciting.  I recently went into the studio and laid down some songs and you can listen to them by clicking the Music button that is also NEW!  I’ve handily embedded a track from The Awkward EP here…

I am really delighted to have produced this EP and particularly happy to have recorded Henri – it’s a song I often play live with the help of an audience member translating the lyrics.  But when I play it live it has to be an edited version otherwise it’d take up the whole show and test the patience of even the most dedicated audience member, so I’ve recorded the full song as it was originally written and it sounds ace – with some not insignificant help from Gus Bousfield in his studio and with his double bass plucking.

Furthermore, I am performing an hour of musical silliness that features some of these songs and more this weekend – 11th and 12th Aug 6.30pm – as part of the Camden Fringe.  Details here… and on this little flyer….

Do come and say hello.  Watch the show too and don’t say hello during the show, say hello beforehand or after.  If you’re a latecomer (don’t be one of those) then I might say hello to you if it feels appropriate or if I can think of something witty to say about your hair/attire/footwear.  But probably best not to draw attention to yourselves.

Hope to see you then.
